The red 'fruits' are called Tunas in spanish so...
I called the local mexican grocery store and sure enough
They carry them!I will be making a smoothie with these little guys!
My grandma had a huge pricklypear in Tracy ca where its HOT. She didnt eat any of it but still made it to 94 without any meds GARLIC was a staple in her diet to lower blood pressure.
I also ordered a bottle of Nopalea to see what happens for my old stiff lower back..will report back here

Hi Fran,

I was reading that beets also have betalains. I wonder how they compare to the Nopalea in regards to betalains potency? Might be a good alternative? Would the prickly pears from the Cactus here in South Texas have betalains similar to Nopalea? Just wondering. They do sell those prickly pears at the supermarket when in season. Never paid much attention to them before, but won't pass them up next time. Good job on the article.

Hi, Frank

You actually have a GREAT question. My grandson used to always get really bad allergies with a runny nose and cough. I would have to take him to the doctor, who would
prescribe anti-biotics, cough syrup and anti histamines. Not too mention how big his tonsils would be. It was inflammation. After drinking between 2-4 ounces a day, he can now
breathe easier, sleeps all night WITHOUT snoring (because of his big tonsils which are no longer big!) and we don't go to the doctor's anymore. I would encourage you to drink
Nopalea. It's guaranteed. What do you have to lose? Let me know you like it.

Thank you for sharing about Nopalea. I've read that it can positively effect breathing. I have "pulmonary fibosis"...and wonder if you have seen any results on this product's use for same.

Thanks Again,

Bobs wife Evelyn was dying of cancer Little Barbara couldnt understand why her mommy could never come home. Bob had created an animal character in his own mind and told the animals story to little Barbara to give her comfort and hope. Bob finished the book just in time to give it to his little girl on Christmas Day.But the story doesnt end there...The general manager of Montgomery Ward caught wind of the little storybook and offered Bob May a nominal fee to purchase the rights to print the book.
