I bet you didn’t know that practicing gratitude is a GOOD way to have a very real impact on your physical health.
Just the thought of “Thanksgiving”, which is the start of the holiday celebrations in the States, gets each and every one thinking of what we have to be thankful for. We can start with being thankful for family. And friends. And where we live. And how we live. Even for having been born in the country we were born in.
Being grateful can help with stress levels. Gratitude is also an ally in fighting stress. Grateful people tend to be more optimistic which is a characteristic that boosts the immune system.
